The first devices were developed by Rolf D. Ossa as early as 1983 and prototypes were built in a garage. These then quickly went into series production and the production facility was expanded.
In 1999, as a family business with owner Torsten Georg, we took production and business into master hands.
The HELIA SMOKER ovens were further developed and the delivery program expanded, many new markets in Europe and worldwide were added. In 2016 we built a new, larger production facility with an office wing and a modern test and demo kitchen. Since 2017, we have been producing, crafting, cooking and marketing our favorite products related to the HELIA SMOKER smoking ovens with heart and soul and are constantly opening up new markets. WE is a team from the Georg family together with 8 employees. The HELIA SMOKER devices are manufactured by us in-house, on modern machines and with careful handwork, from the stainless steel sheet, through the electrical assembly, to the finished device and the final quality inspection.
Through constant further development and adaptation to food trends and in close cooperation with the leading specialist institutes in the fish and meat industry as well as the many suggestions from the practice of gastronomy, the HELIA SMOKER is a sophisticated quality product.
